John Hobbs is vice president, investor relations at Plum Creek. In this role, Hobbs leads the investor relations efforts for the company.

Prior to joining Plum Creek in 2001, Hobbs was assistant director of investor relations for Georgia-Pacific Corporation where he led the investor relations efforts for Georgia-Pacific’s Timber Company. He began his career in the forest products industry in 1995 when he joined Georgia-Pacific’s Corporate Planning and Development group in Atlanta.

Hobbs graduated from the University of Kansas in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and a minor in economics. He also earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School in 1995.
