Hunting, fishing and other forms of outdoor recreation are interests that many people share. With our geographically diverse resource base of approximately 8 million acres of timberland, Plum Creek provides abundant recreational opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts.

We consider it our responsibility to wisely manage these resources to their highest potential. Our team of foresters and biologists work hard every day to improve the quality of our streams, forests and wildlife through disciplined application of scientific knowledge and management expertise. But that is only half of the story. Only by partnering with responsible users can we consistently deliver a top-quality recreational experience. Thus, we employ a variety of mechanisms to provide public recreational access -- from exclusive-use leases to open lands. Each is designed to provide for the optimal biological, cultural and social characteristics of the environment.
