Developed by members of the wood and paper industry, the Abundant Forests Alliance's goal is to educate consumers about the forest products industry's commitment to maintaining the balance between supplying wood and paper products and protecting the forest resources that make these products possible.

According to the Abundant Forests Alliance:

• Our industry plants more than 1.7 million trees - every day
• There are 10 million more acres of forests in the U.S. today than 15 years ago.
• The U.S. forest inventory has increased by 39 percent since 1952, despite nearly doubling our population!
