Plum Creek participates with federal and state agencies and environmental groups to identify and protect lands that have special value. Through partnerships and conservation easement sales, the company protects habitats for endangered and threatened wildlife and plants. Plum Creek has committed more than 445,000 acres in Maine for permanent conservation.
